MSCSW was one of three professional organizations to endorse a letter to the editor, “Immigrant children separated from parents could suffer profound psychological trauma” published in the St. Paul Pioneer Press on Sunday, July 9, 2018. This letter was signed by more than 300 medical and mental-health professionals, including medical doctors, social workers, psychologists, nurses and marriage and family therapists and, in addition to the Minnesota Society for Clinical social work, was endorsed by Doctors for Health Equity and Women in Psychology.
